Change your password on Ubuntu

It is a good idea to change your password from time to time, especially if you think someone else knows what your password is.
- Click your name on the panel (top-right) and select About Me.
- Click Change Password.
- Fill in your Current password and click Authenticate.
- Once you have authenticated, enter a New password, and Confirmation password (which needs to be exactly the same as the New password).
- Click Change password.(OR)use the command :sudo passwrd root
